PatchLens (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a software-as-a-service tool based in Colorado, USA. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you use PatchLens, how we use it, with whom we share it, and your choices regarding that information. At present, PatchLens operates as a product name under development and is not yet incorporated. We intend to form Moduleint LLC (doing business as PatchLens) in the near future.
Your use of PatchLens is also governed by our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account & Usage Data
- Email address
- IP address used to access our service
Project & Configuration Data
- Repository URL and branch name
- Analysis configuration details (e.g., options)
- Project metadata (e.g., dependencies, unit-test names, codebase size)
Analysis Logs & Results
- Logs generated during analysis
- Analysis outcomes (e.g., execution time, test failures, runtime field-state variations, coverage metrics)
Note: We clone your code only during the analysis process and do not retain your source code afterward.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the service, including executing analyses and monitoring security
- Generate anonymized product metrics for development and improvement
- Identify and fix bugs through error reporting
- Create aggregated, anonymized data for marketing materials
We do not share individual or project-level data with external parties.
3. Data Retention
We delete all cloned source code immediately following analysis completion. Other user and project or scan metadata is retained indefinitely to support ongoing service use and analytics.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal or project data to third parties. We may use trusted service providers under strict confidentiality obligations, but only as necessary to perform the services you request.
5. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS)
- Internal and External Access controls
- Audit logging and monitoring
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents may request disclosure or deletion of personal data collected. We do not sell personal or project data. To exercise your rights, please contact us.
7. Your Choices
- We do not currently offer self-service options to view or delete data. To request changes or removal, contact us.
- We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in. Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe option.
8. Children’s Privacy
PatchLens is intended for adult developers and enterprises. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
